How do I create an account?
Download Shega, sign up with your phone number, verify the one-time code, and build your profile. You must be 18 or older.
How does matching work?
Shega matches you with people based on what matters: heritage, region, language, faith, age, and distance preferences you set. When two people like each other, it’s a match, and you can start a conversation.
How do I verify my profile?
Shega offers phone verification and optional selfie verification. Verification helps build trust in the community. A verified badge shows others you’ve completed a verification step.
How do I stay safe?
Meet in public places, tell someone you trust your plans, and trust your instincts. Shega does not conduct background checks, so always use good judgment. You can report or block any user from their profile.
How do I report or block someone?
You can block or report a user directly from their profile or your conversation with them. If you have a safety concern, contact us at support@shegaapp.com.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime in the app’s settings. Deletion begins a 30-day process, after which your personal data is removed, subject to limited legal retention. See our Privacy Policy for details.
