Shega has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Shega (operated by O3 Holdings LLC) is an adults-only dating app. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) are strictly prohibited and have no place on Shega. These standards explain how we prevent, detect, and respond to it, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
·Adults only (18+)
Shega is for adults 18 and older. We require a date of birth at sign up and enforce the minimum age on our servers. Accounts that we determine to belong to minors are removed.
·What is prohibited
We prohibit CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers a minor. Our Terms of Service forbid this conduct, and violations result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.
·How we prevent and detect it
- Phone verification is required before a profile can be created.
- Every uploaded photo is automatically screened for explicit and abusive content.
- Optional selfie verification helps confirm people are who they say they are.
- Reported accounts are reviewed, and repeated reports trigger automatic suspension pending review.
·How to report
In the app, you can report or block any profile or message in one tap from the profile or conversation. Reports involving a minor or CSAE are treated as our highest priority.
You can also email our child safety team directly at safety@shegaapp.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
·How we respond
We act on credible reports of CSAE promptly. We remove violating content, ban the accounts involved, preserve relevant evidence, and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by applicable law.
